Chelsea’s hopes of landing Alex Telles in the summer transfer window might have been given a major boost. The 27-year-old has reportedly signalled his intentions to leave Porto this summer after rejecting an offer of a new contract.
However, Different sources report different things, and it looks to be one of those rumours that will go on and on.
It looks pretty certain that Paris Saint-Germain are in for his signature, as reported by Get French Football News.
Chelsea are also in for him, as reported on numerous occasions, most recently by Portuguese outlet A Bola (cited by The Sun).
Both teams have had their moments of allegedly ‘being close’ to signing the Porto left back, but that could well be wide of the mark, for now.
However, according to Raphael Gomes, a reporter on Brazilian Radio Station ‘Radio Gaucha‘, Chelsea ARE in talks to sign the 27-year old left back.
So the Brazilian international’s future still remains up in the air, but it is probably safe to draw the conclusion that both Chelsea and PSG are interested in signing Telles.
