Chelsea boss Tuchel sent surprise message about possible Chelsea signing of £100m attacker

Frank Leboeuf has sent a transfer warning to Thomas Tuchel about the possible Chelsea signing of Erling Haaland in the summer transfer window.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are the lowest scorers in the Premier League top seven with a new centre forward thought to be high up the club’s list of priorities this summer, and Haaland has been named as the clubs number one transfer target.

Already regarded as one of the most deadly strikers in world football, Haaland has already hit 31 goals in just 30 games this season and is well on his way to becoming the best forward in the game.

But Leboeuf warns there is a risk of further upsetting the balance in attack, insisting adding the Norwegian will not guarantee success: ‘Haaland is a beast. Of course it would be a plus for Chelsea,’ Leboeuf told Sky Sports News.

‘But now you have to think financially and economically, and you also have to also think and make sure your dressing room is going to be following the coach.

‘If you put Haaland (in the team) you lose [Olivier] Giroud, but you might lose [Kai] Havertz, you might lose Werner as well. What about [Christian] Pulisic? Where are you going to play [Hakim] Ziyech?
