Chelsea clear favourites to sign £87m winger, Todd Boehly really want to sign him
Reports have claimed that Chelsea are now the favourites to sign Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
According to Calcio Mercato, the Blues are leading the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid in an attempt to sign the player, with a bid of at least £87m being needed to tempt them to sell.
Kvaratskhelia has been linked with a move away from Napoli despite enjoying a very impressive spell with them since he joined.
He is not the only player from the reigning Italian champions that the Blues are considering. They have been strongly linked with a move for Victor Osimhen.
The Nigerian is only likely to move at the end of the season, with a striker seemingly right at the top of Chelsea’s priority list.
This has not ended their interest in other roles though, and now it has been claimed that they have pushed themselves to the front of the queue to bring in Kvaratskhelia.

The report goes on to say that the club are willing to do anything to bring him in, suggesting that they may not have too much faith in the players they currently have in that role.
Mykhailo Mudryk looks as if he is the future on the left wing, although he has struggled to nail down a starting place ever since he joined last January.
His performances have certainly gone up a level since Mauricio Pochettino came in, however there is still a long way to go until he reaches the talent many have tipped him for.
Elsewhere, Raheem Sterling has been featuring more on the right, and he is enjoying a far better campaign than he did last season.
