Arsenal joined Chelsea are reportedly interested in securing the services of Real Madrid full-back Achraf Hakimi.
Morocco international defender is due to make a return to the Bernabeu in the summer following two year on loan at Borussia German giants, Borussia Dortmund, where he has managed to found back of the net 10 times and provide 17 assists in 65 games.
Hakimi’s future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks with the likes of Chelsea, Serie A champions Juventus and PSG all believed to be interested in securing services.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, the Gunners have now joined the hunt for the 21-year-old centre-back, having been impressed by his progress over the last two campaigns.
Hakimi’s agent recently denied suggestions that his agent had signed a new contract with La Liga giants, Real Madrid, although the defenders current deal at the Bernabeu does still run until the summer of 2022.
Zinedine Zidane’s side are believed to be fearful that Hakimi could decide to depart from the club ahead of next campaign as his path into the starting XI is currently blocked by experienced Spain international full-back Dani Carvajal.
Chelsea and Arsenal also eyeing a move for another Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.
