Chelsea could announce the signing of €50m-rated world class goalkeeper as Mendy’s back-up
According to report, Chelsea are currently interested in signing the Italian side AC Milan vertaran goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as Mendy’s back-up.
Though it has been made clear that the pro goalkeeper wants a new challenge, with his agent Mino Raiola initiating contact with potential suitors for his client’s services.
However, despite the West London side Chelsea heavy interest in the AC Milan goalkeeper, it has been claimed that Donnarumma wants to stay at Milan, where he has spent five years as part of the senior squad, establishing himself as one of the best goalkeepers across Europe.
Though Eduard Mendy made an eye-catching start in the beginning of the season for Chelsea, before making series of errors to goals. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will enter the market for a new goalkeeper with Mendy tipped to be the long-term fix to the Blues’ goalkeeping woes.
