Lampard keen on Ndidi
Chelsea are on the lookout for a replacement for N’Golo Kante and they have reportedly identified his successor at Leicester City – Wilfred Ndidi.
The Leicester Mercury cite reports in Spain as saying that the Blues are hopeful on a deal for the Nigerian international, who is said to be valued at £40million.
Ndidi arrived at the Foxes from Genk in the summer of 2017 and was primarily seen as filling the void created when Kante had moved to Stamford Bridge the previous year.
The central midfielder has become an increasingly prominent figure at the Midlands club and they would be keen to hold onto him at all costs.
Kante has been linked with a move away from West London this summer.
