Chelsea fans cries out as star player suffers injury ahead of Arsenal clash “What tha hell?”

Chelsea fans have not taken in well, news that Cole Palmer has been injured while on international duty.

The England U-21 international was involved as the Young Lions beat Serbia 9-1, but he didn’t finish, and had to be subbed off with a thigh injury.

Palmer, who joined the Blues from Manchester City for a fee around £43m in the summer transfer window has been one of the best players in Mauricio Pochettino’s side since his arrival at Stamford Bridge— even scoring a goal and picking up an assist in the 4-1 win at Burnley.

Chelsea already have a very long list of injured players this season, including Christopher Nkunku, who is yet to kick a ball after joining from RB Leipzig over the summer, and fans are saddened by the trend, with some even claiming that the West London club is under a ‘curse’.

One Chelsea faithful said on X (formerly Twitter): “What tha hell?”

Another said: “We are cursed.”

And another chimed in: “It’s a Chelsea thing SMH.”

One fan said: “Are we cursed or something?

“Can’t our players finish a game without injuries?

While another posted: “Sending Cole Palmer safe wishes and hope it is nothing serious.”

Palmer was later seen watching on with former City teammate, Phil Foden, as the Young Lions finished their game on Wednesday night, but the player will still have to be assessed before fans can truly know where things stand.
