Chelsea fans will love what ruthless Frank Lampard told Mason Mount after 30 mins vs Sheff Utd
Chelsea had another impressive win on Saturday as they keep their good run of form going. The Blues beat Sheffield United 4-1 and became the league’s top goal scorers so far.
Frank Lampard will be pleased with this string of games after a bit of a stuttering start to the campaign.
But the new signings are clicking, the squad is gelling together, and they are playing with some real confidence and determination right now.
One player who has stood up to be counted amongst a sea of shiny new signings, is midfielder Mason Mount.
He had a good game on Saturday, but it wasn’t until after his boss ruthlessly shouted at him from the side lines to tell him what he needed to do better.
According to a report from The Telegraph, although Chelsea were dominating the game, ’30 minutes into it, Lampard had a stern word with Mount from the side-line.
‘He told him to firstly “stop f—— about” and secondly to be faster in playing the ball out wide, where Reece James and Hakim Ziyech were waiting on the right wing.’
