The Blues resume training last week with N’golo Kante joining his teammates as the Season looks like to resume next month.
However, According to The Athletic’s Liam Twomey, Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante won’t be considered for selection following his decision to skip training amid fears of contracting the coronavirus.
Kante is expected to do home workouts in order to maintain his fitness levels, but Twomey feels the midfielder won’t be physically ready to play when the Premier League resumes next month.
“Kante won’t be considered for selection unless he’s training — he simply won’t be physically ready to play,” writes Twomey.
“His fears are perfectly understandable and anything other than supporting his stance would be a PR disaster for the club but COVID-19 is likely to be a danger for the foreseeable future.”
