Chelsea Boss Frank Lampard will be relieved as the latest news revealed that N’Golo Kante will be fit for their FA Cup Semi-Final match against Manchester United.
N’Golo Kante is one of the key figures of the Chelsea squad, but he has missed the last two games with an injury.
Although the player won’t be fit for Tuesday’s Premier League clash against Norwich, but Frank Lampard reveals that the France international is poised to feature against the Red Devils.
“He is not fit for Norwich,” said Lampard. “But he has a chance for the semi-final.”
The midfielder adds stability in Chelsea’s midfield, but without him, the team has looked shaky. And he was utterly missed at Bramall Lane as the London club suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Sheffield United.
Meanwhile, Norwich were relegated at the weekend after losing to West Ham, but Lampard said, “We have to treat them with the utmost respect.
“Wounded animal or whatever you want to call it, but they have quality players who have played very well in a lot of games this season where they can count themselves unfortunate not to get results. We will be expecting a very tough game,” he added.
