Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly willing to offer Federico Bernardeschi to Chelsea in a swap deal for midfielder Jorginho.
The Italy international midfielder has been tipped to reunite with Maurizio Sarri after the end of the current campaign, after heaping praise on his former Napoli and Chelsea boss last week.
“His a great technician, he has an incredible preparation, he knows practically everything, he has an answer for everything you ask.
“With him you always know what to do on the field, on a tactical level it is amazing.”
Jorginho, who was signed for Chelsea by Sarri back in July 2018, has grown in stature during his second campaign in West London and the Blues are not believed to be looking to get rid of his services.
According to The Sun, however, defending Serie A champions are going to test the Blues’ resolve by using Bernardeschi as bait in the player-plus-cash deal in order to lure Jorginho away from Stamford Bridge.
Bernardeschi has been a regular for the Serie A heavyweights this campaign and was recently touted as a transfer target for Barcelona as they see him as a perfect replacement for Ousmane Dembele whose future remains up in the air at the Catalan club following his injury history.
