Chelsea have climbed a ladder to bring in new faces who will feature in next season competition. Frank Lampard’s patience over the transfer ban is ripping good after Marina and Roman Ibrahimovich decision to spend the saved cash over the two years.
Chelsea have already secured the services of Hakim Ziyech who is expected to be at Stamford Bridge as at first July. German Goal machine Timo Werner is now available for official announcement after the deal was confirmed by German journalist.
According to Christian Folk who is a known German journalist, Timo Werner will play for Chelsea next season. The deal has been completed but medical tests have delayed the official announcement. Coronavirus crisis has hindered traveling hence the medical test has been planned to be conducted in a private hospital in German.
According to the reports, Blues are expected to announce the deal within 48 hours. This closes the announcement to be done during the weekend.
Timo Werner would have flown to London to do the medical test but this will disrupt the Bundesliga due to the quarantine restrictions. Another option is that, Chelsea and Leipzig may agree to complete it at the end of the season since the deal has already been struck.
