Federico Chiesa is ‘especially’ interested in a move to the Premier League.
That’s according to Italian website Calciomercato, who claim Fiorentina will sanction the winger’s departure providing a ‘rich offer’ is submitted. Rivals Manchester United and Chelsea have both been linked with the Italy international, who has scored 29 goals and provided 20 assists for the Serie A side. Calciomercato also suggest Chiesa likes the Premier League and has started taking English lessons in preparation.
Jadon Sancho dilemma
Chelsea target Jadon Sancho wants a move to London this summer, despite reports suggesting the striker is close to signing for Manchester United. That’s according to European football expert Gabriel Marcotti, who believes Borussia Dortmund could look to wait and see if his value goes up next season and block a move this summer.
“I’ve been told Sancho would prefer a move back home in other words to London where he grew up,” Marcotti told the BTP Media Network. “But equally I’m sure he prefers a move for wherever gives him the best package and long term prospects. “Obviously he has leverage and in normal conditions, a United move would have happened.
“I think if I’m Borussia Dortmund, I’ve taken a big hit and ideally I’d want to keep him another year. Let him play the Euros, see if his value goes up.”
Jorginho to Juventus
Jorginho could be reunited with former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri this summer. And that’s because Juventus have opened talks with the Italian’s agent over a £35million transfer, according to reports. The 28-year-old followed Sarri from Napoli to Stamford Bridge on a five-year deal for £57m in 2018. And the 61-year-old coach appears keen to do so again, as according to The National, Juventus have held talks over personal terms with Jorginho’s representatives.
Ben Chilwell to Chelsea
Chelsea have entered negotiations to sign Leicester full-back Ben Chilwell. That’s according to Spanish website Todofichajes, who claim talks are already underway between the two Premier League clubs. Frank Lampard is eager to bolster his options at left-back with Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri tipped to be replaced at Stamford Bridge in the upcoming transfer window. And the Blues manager may have received a boost in the pursuit of his top target with Todofichajes suggesting that Chilwell has told his agent he’s eager to join the west London club.
