The Blue to face a battle to retain the services of rising star Samuel Iling-Junior with a host of top European clubs chasing the ace’s signature, Football Insider can reveal.

The 16-year-old attacker has caught the eye of Ajax, Paris Saint Germain, Schalke and Bayern Munich after impressing the youth sides of the west London outfit and England.

A Chelsea source has told Football Insider the board are braced for offers for the talent ahead of the summer as Europe’s elite plot moves to land him.

Iling-Junior is out of contract at Chelsea this summer and his suitors know they could sign him for a minimal compensation fee if he moves abroad.

He is considered as one of the brightest young prospects to come through the Blues’ academy in recent years and has already featured for the side’s Under-18s at the age of 16.

The left-sided attacker has been likened to current the Blues’ first-team star Callum Hudson-Odoi and is tipped for a big future in the game.

Europe’s top sides have made scouring the Premier League for top young talent a major priority in the latest years knowing they can lure away some of the best talents in cut-price deals.

Losing Iling-Junior would come as a huge blow to Chelsea as the teenager is considered as a potential star in the making.

He has been capped by his country at U17 level and has played regularly for Chelsea U18s this campaign as well as in the Uefa Youth League.
