Chelsea plans to replace Pochettino with 48-year-old Spanish man

Mauricio Pochettino is under a lot of pressure at Chelsea for underwhelming performances. The Blues have only managed to win 11 of their 27 matches played in the Premier League. The London club sits at the 11th place in the Premier League with only 11 matches left. Results like these are the reason Pochettino is facing sacking threats by the club’s management.

However, the management has backed him for several months to continue at Chelsea. But the patience might be running out now, as Spanish media reports that the Blues have already found his replacement.

POCHETTINO REPLACEMENT FOUND BY CHELSEA

According to AS, Chelsea are looking to bring Girona FC’s manager Michel as replacement for Pochettino. Girona have been absolutely brilliant this season, making it to the 2nd place in Laliga just behind Real Madrid. They were the underdogs at the start of the season and they went to surprise the whole world. Girona has defeated FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and various other great Laliga sides.

The impressive run of the underdog club has caught the eyes of the footballing world. Todd Boehly wants to bring Michel in the hopes of a revival of Chelsea. Chelsea has also submitted an offer for the Spanish coach already, as reported by AS. Several media outlets in Spain now link Michel to the Premier League side.

WHAT WILL BE THE FUTURE OF CHELSEA?
Chelsea have not won a single trophy since Todd Boehly took over. Their only hope to win a trophy this season was thrashed by Klopp’s Liverpool recently. Todd would certainly like to change this statistic as soon as possible.

Chelsea need to be consistent in the next season to win something. Their performances have been largely inconsistent this season making it the reason for their downfall.
