According to latest reports, Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek signed up for Fulham on loan on transfer deadline day, as he joined the west London club in a season-long loan deal.

Loftus-Cheek was sent on loan in order to rediscover his best form, as he hasn’t looked like himself upon his recovery from the Achilles injury that kept him out of action for more than a year.

Fulham are pleased to have signed the highly-rated midfielder, and the club’s vice-chairman Tony Khan has hailed the midfielder as a world-class player.

Khan said: “I’m thrilled to announce the arrival of Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Fulham Football Club on loan from Chelsea FC.

“Ruben is a world-class player in the prime of his career, he has earned great experience in the Premier League, and we believe he will be so valuable to our club in our fight ahead of us. Come on Fulham!”

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard still has good plans for Loftus-Cheek and still rates him highly, while Loftus-Cheek will see the loan deal as an opportunity to get back his form and make the squad for next summer’s Euro competition.
