Chelsea are reportedly planning to make a summer move for Borussia Dortmund stopper Roman Burki.

The West London club could be in the market for a new goalkeeper ahead of the 2020-21 season, with current No.1 Kepa Arrizabalaga struggling for form since joining them from Atheltic Bilbao in a record £71.6m deal.

Willy Caballero was the team’s first-choice stopper in English top-tier before the action was postponed in March, however, the experienced Argentine is not believed to be in the running to be the number one next season.

According to The Sun, Frank Lampard’s team have identified Dortmund’s Burki as a possible signing in the upcoming transfer window.

The report claims that the West London club are lining up a £15m offer for the Switzerland international stopper, who only has one year left to run on his current deal at Signal Iduna Park.

Burki has kept 12 clean sheets in 33 games for Borussia Dortmund this campaign.
