Chelsea set to announce first deal – Blues told £150M Striker – Chelsea free to sign Stopper – quitting rivals

CHELSEA TO ANNOUNCE MESSINHO

Estevao Willian and Chelsea have come to a personal terms deal; he will transfer to Stamford Bridge in 2025.

Over the previous two years, Chelsea has been the most expensive and contentious team in the Premier League. Since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital acquired the team, the Blues have spent over £1 billion on players, the majority of whom are young.

But the team has not been satisfied with the results, and there have been some whispers that Mauricio Pochettino is insisting that more players who are already well-established in the game be signed.

Nobody knows if Pochettino will still be the boss of CHELSEA by the end of the summer window – but that is not stopping Ted Boehly and CO. from getting the players that they feel could develop into one of the best in the world.

Now it seems that they are closing in on a potential deal for the young man if you believe the words of Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano

The Blues have reached a verbal accord with the 17-year-old, according to Fabrizio Romano, and he will make the move to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2025

Pat Nevin has encouraged Chelsea to try and sign the next Harry Kane – ahead of all the big names linked.

It is no secret that Chelsea need a striker in the summer – and the likes of Ivan Toney, Victor Osimhen and Victor Gyokeres have all been linked with a big money move to Stamford Bridge.

However – amid all the speculation and rumours – former Blues star Nevin has opened up and revealed that he would like the Blues to make a move for the highly-rated Brighton star Evan Ferguson.

The Scotland international told OLBG: “Chelsea really need a simple finisher. Someone who has good numbers when the ball goes into the box.

“There are plenty of other teams that would be looking for that type of player too. I’m sure Manchester United are one of them. But like Manchester United, Chelsea are in the same boat, they are big clubs or they have been big clubs, and you need to get back to that level.

“In losing Thiago Silva, Chelsea might open up to the idea of having a more experienced striker. CHELSEA always buy young and that’s fine if it pays off in the long term, but I’m absolutely 100% convinced Pochettino wants a little bit more experience in there.

“The future of Ivan Toney has opened up and that could be explored, but that doesn’t mean it’s the right option. He will score goals and he has a cleverness about him, but he’s not what Chelsea generally look at.

“If they go with usual thinking it could be Victor Osimhen or Toney, but if I was Evan Ferguson at Brighton I would be looking at Chelsea at the moment. He’s going to reach his potential by being in a team in which he gets lots of chances and Chelsea are now getting better in being faster in their build-ups.

“I don’t think teams are ignoring him even though he’s not scoring as many goals, but no strikers score millions of goals at the start, look at Harry Kane and his early numbers, it takes time. But if you’re a striker, you want one thing over and above everything else and that’s getting four or five chances a game.

“If you can get into a team that’s doing that and they are clear-cut chances you’d like to be there. I think he’d be better suited to the current CHELSEA side than it would be to say current Manchester United.”

RAMSDALE TO QUIT ARSENAL –

It has again been claimed that CHELSEA Aaron Ramsdale will quit Arsenal at the end of the season and look for a transfer move.

Many fans were left speechless when news broke last summer that Arsenal were going to sign David Raya on a loan deal until the end of the season, especially after Aaron Ramsdale really impressed in that Gunners shirt last season, but he has been impressive since his move to the Emirates.

After Another impressive season for Arsenal – the Gunners are the best defensively sound side in the Premier League and that has helped Raya pick up his first golden glove award.

The Spaniard sealed the honour with two games still to play this term after keeping his 15th clean sheet of the campaign, and the Gunners are expected to finalise the permanent transfer of David Raya, with a full agreement in place

Now the Football insider have claimed that Ramsdale knows that his days at Arsenal are up and will look to leave the club once the transfer window opens up – with a few clubs interested in the big man.

Andy Cole recently hit out at Mikel Arteta for his treatment of Arsenal star Aaron Ramsdale this season.

The former striker said, as quoted by DAZN:

“I think he’s been hard done by, I really do. He was so good for Arsenal last season and then all of a sudden, Mikel Arteta has gone out and got a new goalkeeper and initially claimed that he had two number ones, which was complete nonsense from day one.

“The way he’s disregarded Ramsdale has been really disrespectful. He’s mugged him off basically.”
