Chelsea show interest in re-signing French attacking midfielder – report
Chelsea and Liverpool have reportedly joined a growing list of sides interested in signing Reading attacker Michael Olise next year.
The 18-year-old has netted twice and registered three assists in 10 games for the Royals this season and is widely considered as one of the best young talents outside of the Premier League.
Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leeds United and Arsenal were all linked with Michael’s services in the latter stages of the summer transfer market.
However, according to a report from TEAMtalk, the Blues and the Reds have now joined the hunt for a player who only has just over 18 months left to run on his existing deal.
Olise spent time with the west London outfit during his youth career, while he also represented Manchester City before transferring to Reading back in 2016, ultimately signing a professional contract with the EFL Championship side in July 2019.
The France youth international, who has made 37 appearances across all competitions for his current side, is capable of playing in a host of different positions in the final third of the field.
