Chelsea signing 183-goal star will be ‘real signal of intent’ from Boehly!

According to reports, Blues supporters told that, Harry Kane joining Chelsea would be a “real signal of intent” from Thomas Tuchel’s team.

However, After a very poor stint back in the Premier League, the Blues took the major decision earlier in the summer to permit Romelu Lukaku to leave the club and travel back to Italian football.

And because the team lacks a premier striker who can score goals on a consistent basis, Chelsea FC will need to use its transfer budget to try to add another forward to the assault.

When it looked like the England captain may quit the North Londoners last summer, both the Blues and Manchester City were interested in him. However, the club forced him to stay in the hopes of persuading him to sign a long-term contract.

His current term has two years left, but he hasn’t yet received an extension, and there have been media reports that Bayern Munich is particularly interested in a transfer.

According to recent rumors on the SUN website, Chelsea has spoken to Tottenham about a potential transfer for the huge striker, and Ted Boehly reportedly wants to bring his opponents’ talisman to Stamford Bridge.

Now- amid all the speculation – journalist Pete O’Rourke has come out and told the Blues fans that the possible signing of Harry Kane would be a real statement of intent from the American owner

He told GIVEMESPORT: “If they were able to sign Harry Kane from one of their rivals, what a statement that would send out that Chelsea do mean business to become contenders again for the Premier League.

“If they can land Harry Kane, who’s one of the best goalscorers in Premier League history and the England captain, it would send out a real signal of intent.”
