Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Kai Havertz is on Chelsea’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 20 year old sent a message to Chelsea that he is worth the hype as he showed his killer instinct and football nous in Leverkusen’s 4-1 thrashing of Werder Bremen of Monday night.
Havertz, who is also being closely followed by Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, scored twice in the first half as Bayer Leverkusen thrashed Werder Bremen 4-1.
Havertz showed his versatility as he was deployed in a false nine position against Werder Bremen. Havertz is also comfortable either as a winger, a No 10 or a No 8 with the ability to push forward.
Wherever you deploy him, Havertz will more than deliver the goods, and he emphatically proved that point on Monday night against Werder Bremen.
Havertz now has eight goals and seven assists to his name in 26 Bundesliga matches this season and he is reportedly valued at around £100million by Bayer Leverkusen.
