Chelsea to confirm first major transfer summer after final decision made

The Blues are back to business as they are set to confirm first summer transfer today.

However, the Blues are yet to bring in some players but reports claims they are working hard to bring one or two targets this summer, Haaland and Sergio Ramos might be a Blues player this summer.

Meanwhile, according to Sky Sports, Chelsea will announce a transfer deal for midfielder Billy Gilmour.

Gilmour will leave Chelsea and have his medical at Norwich City today ahead of his loan move for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

The 20-year-old is highly rated in world football, but it is the general feeling that going on loan for regular football will be the best move for his development right now.

The Scottish international enjoyed a fabulous end to last season under manager Thomas Tuchel and delivered another remarkable display in his country’s goalless draw against England at Euro 2020 last week.

Gilmour made 22 first-team appearances for Chelsea.

Chelsea will be looking to sell and loan players out of their squad this summer to free up funds and space in Thomas Tuchel’s squad for new arrivals.

The Blues are also looking to pull off two or three major transfer deals in terms of incomings.
