Chelsea to hijack Arsenal and Tottenham deal for 25-years-old Brazilian star
Arsenal were thought to be the favourites to recruit Everton’s Brazilian star Richarlison, with Tottenham also known to be keen.
Chelsea, on the other hand, has been connected with a bid for the Brazilian, although no tangible news has emerged.
Chelsea are currently said to be leading the battle for the 25-year-old, according to recent sources.
According to the Independent, Chelsea are leading the fight to recruit Everton’s Richarlison this summer.
The Brazil international wants to leave Goodison Park this summer, and there are clubs interested in signing him.
Richarlison joined the Toffees from Watford in the summer of 2018 and has only two years left on his contract.
Everton would demand £50 million for Richarlison, who is being pursued by Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham.
Richarlison seemed to prefer a move to Chelsea in order to play in the Champions League.
With Chelsea connected with Richarlison, the club’s attack might take on a new look, especially with Raheem Sterling and Ousmane Dembele reportedly on their way to Stamford Bridge.
Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, the club’s new owners, have given head coach Tuchel more control over the club’s transfer policy.
As a result, it’s thought that Thomas Tuchel is the one who chooses the guys he really wants. This could jeopardize Christian Pulisic’s, Hakim Ziyech’s, and Timo Werner’s careers, given they saw minimal playing time under his watch.
