Chelsea to offload Tammy Abraham & 4 top players this summer in other to raise £100m for Tuchel summer transfer targets
According to Goal‘s Chelsea correspondent Nizaar Kinsella, Chelsea are expected to offload at least five players this summer as they look to raise up to £100m.
Tammy Abraham has been put on the market, with a price tag of £40m. That figure is expected to put off West Ham but Leicester are also keen on the striker.
Olivier Giroud is likely to be let go on a free transfer, which will free up the wage bill, while Fikayo Tomori could be sold to AC Milan on a permanent basis for £26m after a successful loan spell in Italy.
Left backs Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso will be allowed to leave, although at this stage it is not known who will be in contention to sign them. Both have been linked with Inter Milan, although the uncertainty over Antonio Conte’s future may rule that out as an option.
The Blues are also believed to be looking at selling a number of players who are out on loan, in order to give manager Thomas Tuchel a substantial transfer kitty to go after his own transfer targets.
