Chelsea to use £120k-a-week star in a deal to bring in 83-goal star to Stamford Bridge

Dean Jones, a transfer insider, believes that Callum Hudson-Odoi of Chelsea could be involved in a deal to bring Wilfried Zaha to Stamford Bridge.

Hudson-Odoi may factor into Todd Boehly’s plans to make the Crystal Palace winger his fourth signing of the transfer window, according to Jones.

Reporter Simon Phillips claims that Zaha’s longtime admirers Chelsea are interested in snatching him away from Selhurst Park before the transfer deadline on September 1.

Raheem Sterling and Carney Chukwuemeka are still the only attacking additions for the Blues, as Zaha, who has one year left on his contract in south London, could be seen as a replacement for Raphinha.

The 29-year-old is reportedly one of Chelsea’s priorities, according to the French publication Media Foot, though they face competition from Roma, who are also keeping an eye on his situation.

However, Jones believes that by using Hudson-Odoi, who Fabrizio Romano claimed might leave Stamford Bridge this summer to increase his playing time, the Blues could increase their chances of signing Zaha.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “I’ve been told that if Chelsea were to make a move for Zaha, then Hudson-Odoi might come into the equation.”
