Chelsea told to pay £45m for Alonso replacement, as Blues wants 69m rated serbian playmaker
Chelsea have entered the competition to recruit Wolves teenager Rayan Ait-Nouri, according to the Daily Mail.
Many major clubs are interested in signing Ait-Nouri, who is expected to go to a bigger club this summer. Manchester City is also thought to be interested in signing the 21-year-old.
Young left-back for Wolves Ait-Nouri has made more than 50 competitive appearances for Wolves, scoring nine goals.
Ait-Nouri is highly regarded at Wolves for his technical abilities and quickness.
Wolves are reportedly looking for £45 million for the French left-back.
According to The Sun, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has inquired about Ait-Nouri, who may replace Marcos Alonso.
Wolves are also eager to do business, according to the report, but only for roughly £45 million.
Blues wants 69m rated serbian playmaker
According to Corriere Dello Sport, Chelsea has informed Lazio that they are interested in signing offensive midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Igli Tare, the Serie A club’s sporting director, was in London to negotiate potential deals for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Emerson Palmieri, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek when he received word from the Blues that Milinkovic-Savic is a target.
Manchester United have been heavily connected with the Serbian international in recent months, but his €80 million (£69 million) asking price has deterred potential bidders.
Chelsea told Tare, according to Corriere Dello Sport, that they are not in a position to make an offer for Milinkovic-Savic yet because they need to sell other players first, especially Romelu Lukaku.
As a result, a transfer for Milinkovic-Savic is likely to be explored later this summer. We’ll have to wait and see whether the Blues make a formal offer at any point.
