Chelsea told to wrap record-breaking signing of physical monster

Florent Malouda has opened up and encouraged CHELSEA to try and sign West Ham star Declan Rice in the next few months.

Chelsea’s miserable season continued at the weekend as they were beaten 1-0 by Premier League champions Manchester City. Frank Lampard’s side finish the campaign with tricky fixtures against top-four sides Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Over the past few seasons – Declan Rice has developed into one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and a man that could go on to become one of the best in the world.

But so far the Hammers have not allowed him to leave – despite all the speculation and all the rumours that he is ready to depart – as they are hoping that he snubs a move to Arsenal or CHELSEA.

Leboeuf has now urged the Blues to sign West Ham and England midfielder Rice ahead of the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.

‘Chelsea must try to sign Declan Rice,’ Leboeuf said.

‘People have the right to make mistakes, and Chelsea made a mistake when they got rid of him when he was younger.

‘Rice is a fantastic player; he’s strong, clever, technically good, physically a monster, and tactically he can be very useful.

‘It would be a big change if Chelsea signed him because, for the first time in a long time, we would have someone very strong in the middle of the park.’
