‘I don’t want Chelsea again’: Chelsea star admits Stamford Bridge exit

Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku has now claimed that he does not see a future for himself at Stamford Bridge.

He told Hat Laatse Nieuws that even when he came back to the club, he could always see himself returning to Inter Milan.

Lukaku has been in the headlines recently for rediscovering his goal scoring touch at just the right time for his temporary side.

His goals have helped the Serie A outfit all the way to a Champions League final, and a date with Manchester City in June.

However, it is still well known that he is under contract with Chelsea, and is still set to return to West London no matter what happens this season.

Lukaku wants to leave Chelsea

Reports have even begun to claim that Mauricio Pochettino will consider giving the Belgian an opportunity to complete a sensational comeback at Stamford Brixge next season.

However, the player has now all but confirmed that he sees himself playing at Inter instead of Chelsea.

He said: “I was good at Chelsea last season. But I knew then that if it didn’t work out at Chelsea, I still had Inter.

“When I signed again, I knew: I belong here. I had that too at Anderlecht. I take this club seriously. I want to do my best. The people here see that. Being encouraged here is the best thing there is.”

A striker is reportedly high on the shortlist for the transfer market this summer after their goalscoring woes reached a new low this season.

Lukaku’s teammate Lautaro Martinez has been mentioned as a potential target for the club, who are now looking far and wide for someone to become a consistent goalscorer as they enter a new era.
