According to German media outlet Bild via Daily Mail, Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho has an agreement with the German club to leave for Chelsea or Manchester United if a bid in excess of £100million is received.
The 20 year old winger is wanted by Chelsea and Manchester United after netting 14 goals and providing 16 assists in his 23 Bundesliga matches this season before it was shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Sancho is approaching the final two years of his Dortmund contract and he has been reportedly offered a huge wage rise by the German club. Chelsea might be unwilling to meet the fee required to sign Sancho given the financial difficulties clubs around the world are facing due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said on Monday that the German club are relaxed over Sancho’s future.
Zorc said: “There is no new stance. At the moment, all clubs are running on sight – even in England! “I cannot and do not want to lean too far out of the window with forecasts because the situation is changing daily. We will see what happens.
“We have a long-term contract with Jadon Sancho. This will not change now. We are totally relaxed about it.
“The most important issues that are currently occupying us are rather: what is the way forward? When do we play again? It would be of paramount importance for all of us to be able to finish the season.”
