Chelsea will have to pay £100m to bring back talented midfielder
According to TalkSPORT host Simon Jordan is adamant there will be potential buyers for West Ham’s Declan Rice this summer, but they will have to pay more than £100 million for him.
The English midfielder has played every minute of the Premier League campaign so far with David Moyes’ team fourth in the table.
Declan has been linked with big-money transfers to Chelsea and Manchester United in recent months – and ex-Crystal Palace owner Jordan thinks question marks over his West Ham future will intensify this summer.
Simon told talkSPORT: “It would be interesting to see what happens with Declan Rice at the end of the season.
“His performances have been so good that there will be suitors. There will be suitors with money.”
TalkSPORT host Jim White claims the Hammers’ owners value the highly-regarded player in excess of £100m.
Jim added: “Sullivan has already told me it’s got to be north of £100m or they won’t entertain it. We’ll wait and see what happens with that.”
The Hammers’ chances of keeping the Blues midfield target will increase if they secure UEFA Champions League football this term.
They are two points above Thomas Tuchel’s men ahead of a tough run of matches against Manchester City, Leeds United, Manchester United and Arsenal.
