Chelsea ‘willing’ to bring £88 million superstar back to Premier League as Tuchel claims Blues are “close to where we want to be”

There has been some shock reports that Thomas Tuchel is interested in bringing Eden Hazard back to Chelsea

Hazard was a god at Chelsea during his time with the club and helped the Blues to win multiple trophies but the lure of a move to Real Madrid was hard to turn down, and the Blues had to make the decision to let the Belgian to leave the club and make his dream move to the Bernabeu

But in his first since his move to Los Blancos, Hazard has barely made any real appearances for the club as he struggles with injury and the constant poor performances that the Spanish side put in on a weekly basis.

That has led to many reports in the media suggesting that Madrid will now seek to offload Hazard at the end of the season, with PSG and Juventus two clubs that are reportedly interested in tying to seal a deal.

And according to DefensaCentral, Chelsea are willing to bring the Belgian superstar back to the Premier League for half the £88 million Madrid paid to seal a transfer deal just a few seasons ago.

The reports come after Thomas Tuchel claimed Chelsea are “close to where we want to be” after his third straight win.

Mason Mount’s crisp drive and Jorginho’s penalty saw off Sheffield United 2-1, despite Antonio Rudiger’s comical own-goal equaliser, and Tuchel, unbeaten in four matches since replacing sacked Frank Lampard, said: “We are hunting the teams in front of us, but we will change nothing.”

And of striker Werner’s decisive role he said: ” Brilliant run to assist the first goal and excellent decision making for the second to go around the keeper.”

Chelsea are now up to fifth, a point behind spluttering champions Liverpool.

Look, if the reports are true and Chelsea are keen on Hazard? why would they want to bring back a player that is seemingly done at the very top of the game?
