Chelsea wing-back leaves club on permanent deal, as he ends his 9-years Chelsea career

The transfer window is on and Chelsea has already selling and loaning players out of Stamford Bridge but are yet to bring in new players.

However, Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses has today completed a permanent move to Spartak Moscow, where he made 20 appearances on loan last season.

The price for the transfer is undisclosed – he has signed a 2-year deal with the Russian club.

Meanwhile, Moses arrived at Stamford Bridge back in 2012 from Wigan Athletic, signing for us after playing against us in that season’s Premier League opener.

Sadly for Moses, he never could quite tie down a first-team starting spot given the talent we had over the years. He spent a lot of time out on loan, with clubs such as Liverpool and Inter Milan.

However, the wing-back made 128 appearances for us across these 9 years and was very good in the 2016-17 and the 2017-18 season, helping us win the Europa League and the Premier League across his Blues career.

Chelsea wrote on their official website: “We thank him for his years of service and wish him the very best in his future career.”
