Class act! Chelsea fans hail Kai Havertz for what he did against Iceland
Chelsea star Kai Havertz took his recent club form to the international scene, as he had a good game for Germany in their 3-0 win at home against Iceland.
Chelsea duo Kai Havertz and Antonio Rudiger started the game for Germany, with Timo Werner coming on in the final ten minutes of the game.
Kai Havertz, who started on the left side of attack for Germany, netted his third international goal for Germany. Havertz scored the second for Germany only seven minutes into the game, with Leon Goretzka having opened the lead after just 3 minutes. Havertz timed his run perfectly to meet Leroy Sane’s low cut-back just inside the box and find the gap between defenders to send a left-footed shot low into the net.
Havertz could have had two goals, but had a second goal via a precise volley disallowed for offside.
Chelsea fans were pleased with his display and took to social media to hail him after the game.
Havertz form for the Blues has been impressive of late, and Chelsea fans will be hoping he picks even more.
