Chelsea Boss Frank Lampard claims that Christian Pulisic will be assessed in the next 24 hours after sustaining a calf injury during the 1-0 victory against Leicester City in the FA Cup 1/4.
Ross Barkley’s only goal in the game helped the Blues to book their path into the semi-finals of the FA Cup where they will face Manchester United.
The West London club were well below-par in the first half and Lampard made three substitutions ahead of the second half in a bid to secure a victory.
Pulisic has been the Blues standout performer since the 2019/20 season resumed and the American’s has found back of the net crucial goals against Manchester City and Aston Villa in order to continue chase for the top-four finish.
The Blues take on rivals at West Ham at the London Stadium on Wednesday and Lampard claimed that Pulisic could miss the London derby.
‘He felt tightness in his calf during the second drinks break so I took him off straight away,’ said Lampard. ‘We’ll see in the next day [or so].’
