According to Belgium football expert Kristof Terreur, Chelsea are set to earn €160 million (£143m) for selling Eden Hazard to Real Madrid last summer.
At the time Hazard completed his transfer to Real Madrid last summer, it was reported that the initial fee for the transfer is £90 million.
Terreur claim an alleged fraud case around Hazard’s training compensation to former club Tubize means the total fee for the winger’s move has risen to €160.
Despite having just one year left on his contract when he left the club last summer, the Blues will earn €160 million from the transfer of Hazard to Real Madrid.
Eden spent two years in Tubize’s academy before moving to Lille in 2005.
