CONFIRMED: Premier League approve new rule that will have an ‘BIG’ impact on Chelsea

The Premier League have officially confirmed clubs will be allowed to name nine players on their substitutes bench.

Premier League clubs have also agreed in principle to introduce additional permanent concussion substitutions.

Clubs will be allowed a maximum of two concussion substitutes to be used per team with the opposition side being able to use the equivalent number.
