CONFIRMED: Roman Abramovich makes transfer decision on Paulo Dybala
We can start to expect the transfer rumour mill to start spinning a little faster now as we approach the winter transfer window in January.
Chelsea had an incredible window in the summer, so although I wouldn’t expect them to be too busy in terms of arrivals, there might be one or two players they could look at bringing in.
They will however be expected to be quite busy in the selling market, with a few players looking to go out.
This will likely be in order to fund a new arrival, with Declan Rice of West Ham being high on the agenda for January, as per The Athletic.
A report from Calciomercato backs this up.
They claim that Blues owner Roman Abramovich has decided that he wont be pursuing Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, due to having already invested heavily in the attacking areas.
They say that his investment will be going towards a midfielder, rather than anywhere else during the next window.
