CONFIRMED: Tuchel just name 20 senior players in updated Premier League squad list
Chelsea have submitted their 25-man squad for the rest of the Premier League season with new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel naming just 20 players in our Premier League squad list.
As part of the rules, clubs can only name 17 players who are not counted as homegrown, i.e, did not come through an English or Welsh club’s academy.
Tammy Abraham, Andreas Christensen and Ben Chilwell are listed as home grown players in our 25-man Premier League squad list.
Mason Mount, Billy Gilmour, Kai Havertz, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James are not included in Chelsea’s 25-man Premier League squad list but they are eligible to play for the Blues as they are listed as U21 players.
