‘CONGRATULATIONS’ ‘Won the award of worst player of all time at Chelsea’ – Fans blasts £100,000k a-week Chelsea star poor display in defeat to Dinamo Zagreb
Chelsea supporters have criticized HAKIM ZIYECH for his performance in the 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb, calling it the “worst ever cameo.”
Cesar Azpilicueta was replaced by the 29-year-old at the beginning of the second half, but he struggled to have any influence in the shocking Champions League group stage loss.
In Croatia, Ziyech failed to produce a single chance for the visitors and was thrown off the ball a staggering 16 times.
To make matters worse, he failed to execute any of his nine crosses or four efforts at dribbling.
It was a performance that exemplified the reasons the Blues wanted to get rid of him in the summer.
Chelsea supporters were quick to criticise the attacking midfielder on social media, as one Twitter user said: “One of the worst cameos in the history of football from Ziyech.”
Another remarked: “CONGRATULATIONS HAKIM ZIYECH. You have taken the award off Bakayoko vs Watford for the worst ever cameo in the history of the club.”
A third added: “Ziyech with possibly one of the worst performances ever seen from a Chelsea player. The rest of his team-mates close behind.”
This fan commented: “Ziyech played like someone who was trying to pass a message that he should have been allowed to leave.”
One then messaged: “This Ziyech cameo is the worst of any player of all time I’m crying.”
Another tweeted: “Ziyech with a hall of shame stinker btw. Never seen anything like it. Bro didn’t even start but was the worst player somehow.”
