Chelsea have already signed six major signings and are expected to offload some players following the arrival of new signings.
However, According to reports, Serie A club AC Milan are finally closing in on the signing of Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Italian media outlet Sky Italia claim Chelsea and AC Milan have now reached an agreement for the transfer of Bakayoko and a permanent deal should be completed in the coming days.
Bakayoko had reportedly made it clear that he was only prepared to leave Chelsea for AC Milan and is prepared to accept a 50 per cent pay cut to get the deal over the line.
Bakayoko joined Chelsea from Monaco for £40 million in the summer of 2017 after helping Monaco win the Ligue 1 but the Frenchman failed to impress at Stamford Bridge.
He has spent the last two seasons on loan at AC Milan and Monaco.
