According to Foot Mercato, Italian side Napoli have entered the race to sign 26-year-old Chelsea midfielder Tiemoué Bakayoko.
Sky Sports Italia have also confirmed Napoli’s interest in signing Bakayoko and claim the Italian club want a loan deal for Bakayoko with an option to buy.
It seems Napoli are now ahead of fellow Italian club AC Milan in the race for Bakayoko. AC Milan have been linked with a move for Bakayoko all summer but have failed to reach an agreement with Chelsea for the midfielder.
French club Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing Bakayoko and have been in talks with Chelsea for several weeks over a €3m loan with a €30m to €33m option to buy.
Bakayoko is reportedly not keen on joining Paris Saint-Germain as he is aware he doesn’t have the full support of the PSG hierarchy, even if a move was to come off.
