Deal fully agreed! Chelsea finally reach agreement with club for 28-years-old player
Emerson Palmieri, a left back for Chelsea, is now officially poised to join West Ham United.
However, It was earlier this week that the deal for the Italy international was said to have fallen through, but both clubs have now come to an understanding.
Fabrizio Romano, a transfer analyst, claims that both teams have reached an agreement on a price that might reach £15 million.
Romano tweeted: “Emerson Palmieri deal is fully agreed between clubs since yesterday, £13m fixed fee plus £2m add-ons. There are still things to discuss on player side.
“Discussions ongoing between all the parties to complete the agreement.”
Emerson was deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea, following the signing of Marc Cucurella.
Marcos Alonso is also expected to leave Chelsea this summer, and the duo of Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella would compete for the left wing-back slot.
