According to The Telegraph, Chelsea and Premier League rivals Manchester City are interested in signing Bayern Munich left-back David Alaba.
Alaba’s Bayern contract expires in the summer of 2021 and the Austrian international is yet to extend his contract with the German club.
Chelsea and Manchester City are monitoring Alaba’s situation at Bayern Munich and are prepared to swoop for the 28-year-old if he decides against extending his stay at Allianz Arena beyond 2021.
Alaba has featured in 38 games for Bayern in 2019-20, scoring two goals.
