Is like the transfer ban is a blessing for Chelsea which save some money for the Blues to spend in this transfer window and Chelsea aren’t playing at-all.
However, according to a report from Sky Sports. The Blues are considering a move to sign £27 million rated Lille goalkeeper, Mike Maignan.
The 25-year old was twice between the sticks against Chelsea in Europe’s most prestigious domestic football competition this season, and he tried his best to stop Chelsea advancing.
The Blues won on both occasions though, but they were clearly impressed with what they saw from the 6ft 3in tall goalkeeper.
Sky say there have been no offers made by Chelsea yet, but Maignan is one player they are considering to come in and ‘challenge’ Kepa Arrizabalaga for the number one spot next season.
Maignan has been a regular for France at youth level and he has also been called up into the senior squad, but is yet to have made an appearance for them.
