According to reports, Chelsea are set to offer Antonio Rudiger and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in exchange for West Ham’s Declan Rice.
Despite spending over £200million on new signings this season, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen on signing Rice to improve his defensive options after a leaky start to the season.
The Blues have already conceded 7 goals already this season in just 5 games.
West Ham reportedly want around £70millon for Rice, an amount Chelsea are unwilling to match.
According to Transfer Window Podcast, Chelsea hope to tempt West Ham into selling Rice by offering Rudiger and Loftus-Cheek in exchange.
However, Rudiger is reluctant to join West Ham despite his lack of minutes at Chelsea with Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur also interested.
Loftus-Cheek, on the other hand, just wants to get game time having spent so much time on the treatment table.
