Decided: £67.50m-rated Chelsea target reveals he will be at club in January

Chelsea-linked out-of-favour Real Madrid star Isco has downplayed talks of a January move to the English outfit.

Real Madrid started on the back foot this campaign since the shocking appointment of then Spain’s manager Julen Lopetegui before the World Cup and eventually handing him the sack few weeks later, putting Santiago Scolari at the helm.

Midfielder Isco has had a bit of ruffle this term and has seen the need for his services plunge since Scolari took the reins of the outfit.

The midfielder is understood to be unhappy about sitting out on games he should be a part of and was hugely criticised for his grotesque display against Russian side CSKA Moscow in what was one of their biggest humiliating defeat to a team outside the top five European Leagues in the Champions League.

His laggard display drew suspicions he could be shipped out on loan in January, with Chelsea reportedly linked with a move for the Spanish international.

However, the highly-rated midfielder has rejected moots of a move to England, saying he is going nowhere in January.

This will knock off the smile forming on the lips of Chelsea fans who are reportedly fancying his move to west London. But it is unlikely to happen in January.

“I’m not going to go in the winter market, I’m very happy, of course I want to continue with Madrid to continue winning titles.” Isco told Deportes Cuatro.

Isco is currently valued at £67.50m according to transfermarkt
