Dortmund CEO opens door for Chelsea to seal massive £172 million double summer deals, Mbappe wants £60m Chelsea star at PSG, as Tuchel set incredible Premier League record

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans Watke has opened the door for Chelsea to seal a double deal for the likes of Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho,

Regarded as two of the best attacking players in the Bundesliga right now, both Haaland and Sancho have been two players that have been linked with a staggering £172 million move to the Bridge in the summer.

Thomas Tuchel will be looking to splash the cash and improve on the squad that he currently has, and considering they are in need of adding a bit more quality to that attack, Reports have claimed that the German would like to raid Dortmund.

And now, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke appears to be trying to lure them back in again by dangling a carrot about his club’s need to sell players: ‘The money that we are losing at the moment we will not be able to regain anytime soon,’ Watzke told >Handelsblatt

‘I reckon that it will take at least five years to reach the status quo before the corona crisis in terms of liabilities.

When asked specifically if the club would need to sell players to reduce their debt, Watzke admitted it might be possible.

‘In the midst of a pandemic, I am now ruling nothing out,’ he said.

‘But it is not necessarily the aim. The most important thing is the financial balance: that we have a strong team on the field and at the same time are economically stable.

‘If we’re going to play the entire next season without spectators, we must certainly think about giving up a player. Asking banks for credit lines just to avoid selling a player is not going to be our way.’ It will be a very exciting attack if we can get these two deals done right?

Kylian Mbappe wants PSG to sign Chelsea star for €60M this summer

Kylian Mbappe is hoping to see Paris Saint-Germain sign France international teammate N’Golo Kante from Chelsea, according to Don Balon.

Mbappe’s contract with PSG is due to expire in the summer of 2022, as is reported by Transfermarkt. If PSG want to see the superstar renew with them, they’re going to have to show some ambition and prove to him that they can compete for the Champions League.

As per Don Balon, they can do so by signing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, who the report claims Mbappe wants to see at the Parc des Princes.

However, Kante is one of the best midfielders of his kind in the world and Mbappe has seen what he can do first-hand with the French National Team.

Kante has dipped below his previously set standards over the past 18 months, with injury playing its part in that.

Could a move away be what he needs to get back to his best? Mbappe appears to think so, with Don Balon reporting €60M is the magic number.

Tuchel sets ‘Incredible’ Premier League record following goalless draw against Manchester United as Mourinho, Klopp and Guardiola couldn’t achieve this

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has set another incredible record on Sunday after Chelsea’s goalless draw against Manchester United.

Tuchel has become just the second coach not to concede a single goal in his four home matches in the Premier League after Brendan Rodgers in 2011-12 with Swansea City. Including his final two such matches in charge of PSG, Tuchel has gone six matches without conceding at home in league competition.

Meanwhile, Tuchel believes Chelsea had the better chances against Manchester United.

Tuchel said: “We had the better chances and played high up the pitch in the second half.

“We have to accept a draw in the end and a clean sheet. We had a very good reaction after half time. We stepped up and got better and better with higher recoveries. We went for a win but it did not happen.

“In this highest level, at some points, maybe two big chances have to be enough. If you don’t do that then we have to be alert and aware of the counter-attacks and quality from Manchester United.

“We did this and defended very well. This was extraordinary effort and quality. We take it and go on.”
