Drinkwater gets into trouble again as Aston villa makes final decision on Midfielder ‘s future

We only recently celebrated Danny Drinkwater’s 30th birthday on March 5, but it seems that the former Leicester City midfielder can’t stop getting into trouble no matter what happens.

Drinkwater had a premature loan spell with Burnley in the first half of the season and is currently on loan with Aston Villa, where he has made only four appearances.

Reports now claim that Drinkwater’s immediate future at Aston Villa is in serious jeopardy after he allegedly headbutted team-mate Jota during a furious training ground bust-up on Tuesday.

According to the Daily Mail, the headbutt came after an angry exchange with team-mate Jota in training.

The 30-year-old is expected to be handed a fine and face disciplinary action at the club as Villa chiefs are considering terminating his contract with the club.

For the past two years, Drinkwater has been getting into trouble wherever he finds himself.

Towards the end of last season, he was banned for 20 months from driving after being found guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol behind the wheel.
