Eden Hazard set to miss UCL clash against Chelsea after latest development
As we all know, Real Madrid will face Chelsea in their upcoming Champions League quarter-final tie next month
However, former Chelsea star Eden Hazard set to come up against the club where he made his name.
That may be an unlikely event however, as the Real Madrid star has been sidelined with yet another injury and is going to have a surgery. Real released a statement saying:
Real Madrid confirms that: “In the coming days, our player, Eden Hazard, will undergo surgery to remove the osteosynthesis plate in his right fibula.”
He sat out the El Clasico even though he was fit and with only 8 La Liga starts this season he might not have started against the Blues anyway. He’ll still feel disappointed to miss out another big game regardless.
