EPL: Eden Hazard is coming back to Chelsea
Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has already hinted that he would be returning to the English Premier League to rejoin his former team, Chelsea, in the future.
The Belgium international was a major force at Stamford Bridge and achieved a lot in the seven-year spell before leaving to join the Spanish La Liga giants for fee of £83.53 million last year.
The West London outfit have arguably not been able to replace the Belgium international and they will only wish to have him back as the fans have severally made claims on his return.
Recently, the Blues boss Frank Lampard stated that he is making efforts to find a balance between his defence and his attack, and that sparked reactions from the fans who took to Twitter to ask for the return of Eden Hazard, describing him as a “King” and affirming that he can solve the problem for the boss.
Chelsea now have Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, alongside Christian Pulisic but the presence of Eden Hazard will make the team a bigger threat and there are possibilities that they could still play together at Stamford Bridge.
Back in December, the 29-year-old made it clear that he would return to Chelsea when he is done at Real Madrid “When I finish here, I’ll come back” he said.
The only uncertainty in the return of Eden Hazard to Chelsea is the time of his return but it is wise not to expect him even in the coming season.
However, the 29-year-old has not been the player he used to be with Real Madrid and manager Zinedine Zidane has been accused of not using Eden Hazard properly which is the reason why he has not gotten the best of him.
Meanwhile, the Blues team seem to have returned to winning ways with the 4-0 victory over Krasnodar in the Champions League.
